Case Studies

Since incorporation in 2014, Afrovas research has had the privilege of working with great clients and partners all over the continent. Utilising our network of over nine thousand research assistants, we have conducted over 1,000,000 interviews and delivered more than five thousand different research projects across 20+ African markets in the past seven years. 

This is a summary of some of the different projects we’ve delivered successfully since establishment.

01 Telemundo Angola

This project was conducted in Luanda, the capital of the republic of Angola a couple of years after the launch of Telemundo TV into the market.

Objective

The objective was to look at the response toward Telemundo TV from a brand and content perspective.

Project Methodology

A multi-approach of qualitative focus groups and 1 week diary task was employed.

Several participants were recruited and provided with materials for a week’s exercise which documented their viewing activities. By combining the activity with the group discussions, we were able to make scientific observations and inquiries based not on a moments thought but a continuous record of actual viewing behaviour over the week. The result was priceless insight that could not have been obtained by any other means.
